Welcome to HUM Events. By accessing or using our platform to create, publish, manage, or attend events, you agree to these Terms of Service. We’ve written them in straightforward language because your focus should be on running great events — not decoding legal jargon.

1. The HUM Events Platform

HUM Events provides a mobile-first platform for publishing and managing event information, including schedules, maps, sponsor directories, resources, and real-time updates.

We provide the infrastructure and tools; organizers provide and manage their event content.

2. Event-Based Pricing

No Subscription Fees

HUM Events operates on a simple event-based pricing model. Unless otherwise specified in a custom agreement, you are charged per event or according to your selected plan.

We do not charge recurring monthly subscription fees for inactive accounts or unused events.

Payment Terms

Fees are due at the time of purchase or as outlined during onboarding. Once an event dashboard or event hub has been activated or published, payments are non-refundable unless otherwise required by law.

Scaling and Custom Plans

Pricing may vary depending on event size, duration, features, or custom service requirements. Any custom pricing or enterprise agreements will be outlined separately in writing.

3. Your Content and Responsibilities

You retain ownership of the content you upload or publish through HUM Events, including but not limited to:

• Event schedules
• Maps
• Sponsor logos
• Vendor listings
• Images and media
• Documents and resources

By using the platform, you represent and warrant that:

• You have the legal right to use and publish all uploaded content, logos, trademarks, and materials
• Your content does not violate any laws, regulations, copyrights, or third-party rights
• Your content is accurate and not intentionally misleading
• You will not use the platform to distribute malicious code, spam, or harmful content

4. Platform Availability and Updates

Reliability

We strive to maintain reliable platform availability and real-time synchronization across the HUM Events ecosystem. However, we cannot guarantee uninterrupted service and are not responsible for outages caused by:

• Internet service disruptions
• Third-party providers
• Venue connectivity issues
• Device failures
• Circumstances beyond our reasonable control

Updates and Improvements

We may update, improve, or modify platform features at any time to enhance usability, security, and performance.

5. Prohibited Use

You may not use HUM Events to:

• Violate any applicable laws or regulations
• Promote illegal products, services, or activities
• Harass, abuse, or threaten others
• Upload harmful, malicious, or deceptive content
• Attempt unauthorized access to accounts or systems
• Scrape, copy, reverse-engineer, or exploit platform infrastructure
• Interfere with platform stability or security

We reserve the right to remove content or suspend accounts that violate these terms.

6. Account Suspension and Termination

You may stop using HUM Events at any time.

We reserve the right to suspend, restrict, or terminate accounts or event hubs that:

• Violate these Terms of Service
• Fail to pay required fees
• Create security risks or operational disruptions
• Use the platform in a fraudulent or abusive manner

7. Limitation of Liability

HUM Events provides the platform infrastructure used to manage and distribute event information. We are not responsible for:

• The success or outcome of any event
• Attendee behavior or participation
• Sponsor performance or return on investment
• Organizer decisions or published content

To the maximum extent permitted by law, HUM Events’ total liability for any claim related to the platform shall not exceed the amount paid for the specific event or service giving rise to the claim.

8. Privacy

Your use of HUM Events is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how information is collected, used, and protected.

9. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. When significant changes are made, we will update the effective date and provide notice when appropriate.

Continued use of the platform after updates become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
